ACK TO SCHOOL
The one thing that every mother has to face each year is at this time of the year….
It’s called BACK TO SCHOOL. Getting the kids back on night and morning schedules, going to the school meetings, and gathering of all the supplies that will be needed for each child. My life is no different than any other mom, I have the same frustrations that any other mother has with realizing that my children are growing up and that every year they have different challenges and more difficult subjects to tackle. It not only means that they have to work harder and be more focused but it comes with the same challenge for my life as well. This year I stopped and began to think about not only BACK TO SCHOOL for my children but I started thinking that’s how our lives as Mom’s and Dad’s are as well. Every time God brings us to a new level in life it brings new challenges that will demand that we have to do whatever it takes to learn the new and pass all the test to insure that we are prepared for each of life’s levels. The word of God says in 2 Timothy 2:15 Study, work hard so God can say to you, “Well Done.” Be a good workman, one who does not need to be ashamed when God examines your work. Know what his Word says and means. When we face new seasons in life, even the ones that we already know are coming, it should lead us to the Word of God and find out not only the questions that we have but the answers that we have to have to make it through the season were in at the time. I think about the subjects that my children are going to have to study and I see not only the school of higher learning but the school of life as well. Math really comes down to adding and subtracting, Paul said in Hebrews learn how to lay aside every weight that would so easily stop you from running the race… He’s basically saying to us, “know how to subtract”. English the learning of proper placement of words in sentences and phrases. Proverbs 18 says to us that “Our Words have the power of Death and Life in them.” Physical ED is the process of exercising the body to keep it strong and healthy. Often in the word of God we are challenged to that “Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit.”

No matter what the subject, we have to wrap our minds around them so that we can maximize our mental potential and grow and go to the next level. Maybe its not just our children but all of us that need to know that God is saying to us in this season it’s time to go BACK TO SCHOOL.
